There’s a lot for Assassin’s Creed Mirage fans to enjoy, but it could be even better with a few tweaks.

With Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the series’ gameplay is back to how it was before. Ubisoft made a smaller, more focused story instead of a huge open-world action RPG. Even though the streets of old Baghdad are full of details and places to climb, things could always be better.

If you’ve already seen Basim go from being a thief to a master killer, you probably saw some things that could be done better. It’s simple to criticize a big studio launch without realizing the huge amount of work and skill that goes into making it. There are some fun Easter eggs in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which is a good addition to the series. However, it could be even better with a few changes.

There are 12 other games in the series that you can compare Assassin’s Creed Mirage to, which is not good for it. Getting things is fun, but there are better games in the series. For example, Assassin’s Creed Unity has a murder mystery mode in addition to the main story.

Arno, the main character, has to look for hints, talk to suspects, and then charge someone of the crime. Assassin’s Creed Mirage shouldn’t have the same parts as Assassin’s Creed Unity, but this shows that Ubisoft could have thought of something better this time.

In Baghdad’s alleys, Basim runs into several guards while he is moving quietly. Figuring out and killing each enemy’s patrol routine is one of the most fun parts of the game. To get a guard to leave the others alone, Basim can use sound as one of his weapons. He can whistle at the guard.

The problem with this feature is that it can be used over and over to kill a lot of enemies. The experience could be better if the whistle in each part could only be used once. When one guard goes missing, the others start to think something is wrong.

More Interior Rooms To Explore

The places that Ubisoft makes have become more interactive over the last few years. One of these parts has been the ability to climb through certain windows while playing. This feature helps during chases or when you want to get around the city faster.

While Basim can jump, climb, and swing along the roofs, he can’t get into some windows. If the makers added this function, it would help you feel like you were really in the world.

Make Teleporting Less Overpowered

Assassin’s Creed games in the past have had magical elements, but Basim can travel. If you can move, you can pick out a lot of enemies at once and kill them all with the press of a button.

The look is cool, but players can’t do anything with it. One idea is to make the player do something to properly complete the move. Or, the killings might not go as planned, leaving Basim in a dangerous situation surrounded by enemies.

In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the movement and character moves are great. But there are some things that could be added to parkour to make it even better. One big change Ubisoft made to Assassin’s Creed Unity was adding the option to use certain controls to go up and down.

As an example, you could hold down the rising key as you rose, and the figure would always go up. You wouldn’t need hay or stacked boxes to get your character to the ground if you used the fall input.

Use Altaïr’s Walk

Some things are the same between Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla because they both use the same game engine. One of these traits is the way the figure walks. Basim and Eivor have almost the same walk, which can be a little off-putting.

Watch how Altaïr walks through the city in the first Assassin’s Creed. He is as smooth and cold as ice. The way Basim walked in the original cartoon made him look more like a master killer. A small change like that would make this book better in the series.

For example, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate put you in an industrial area with lots of smokestacks. At different points in Drive Mad, you’ll see different parts of the city, from docks to fancy streets. By changing how some parts of the map look, you can make it feel more real and make you want to explore beyond the task area.

Adjust Eagle Vision

In its early versions, Eagle Vision showed you enemies in busy streets by making them stand out in red. You could find enemies all over the game world when Assassin’s Creed turned into an action role-playing game and added more maps. The city is smaller in Assassin’s Creed Mirage because it is a more simplified version of the series, and Eagle Vision feels too strong.

When you can quickly fly over a lot of old Baghdad, there isn’t much reason to go in and look around. If you can quickly tell that a certain area doesn’t have anything interesting to offer, you won’t bother looking into it any further. Eagle Vision might be better if it didn’t give away so much information. This would make it more fun to find things.

More NPCs On The Street

The sheer number of people on the streets is impressive, no matter what you think of Assassin’s Creed Unity. More non-player characters (NPCs) than ever before bring Paris to life, from tense protests to busy streets. The busy human traffic changes the game and can make it hard to get away from enemies.

The settings in Assassin’s Creed Mirage are beautiful and put you right in the middle of a historical event. The city of Baghdad can feel empty sometimes too. More NPCs in the city’s shops and alleys would make the game feel more alive, if Ubisoft could add them. It’s too bad that Basim sometimes thinks he’s walking through a dead town instead of a real world.
